Glow and go serum is a part of the “Treat” step in your skincare routine and should be applied right after you have cleansed your face! The best time to apply vitamin C serum is in the morning! It is best to apply it before any other skincare products, so right after cleansing and before moisturizer or other serums! :)
How often should I use Glow and go?
We would advise to use it 2-3 times a week to begin with, then you can increase the frequency.
Can I use Glow and go in my nighttime routine?
Yes you can! However it is most beneficial during the day due to its antioxidant properties but you can certainly use it in the PM too if you prefer.
Can I use vitamin C under my eyes to help with dark under-eye circles?
Glow and go serum is not tested for use in the immediate eye area, therefore we cannot recommend using it there. The best practice is to stop at the orbital bone.
Does this the Glow and go serum lose its effectiveness when it is exposed to sunlight?
Whereas L-ascorbic acid is notoriously unstable, can be irritating and easily rendered inactive by exposure to oxygen or light, ascorbyl glucoside is a lot more stable in heat, light exposure, and oxygen. That's exactly why it's so often used in so many beauty products and it feels much better on the skin.
What does this serum do to my skin?
Serum with vitamin C is best for pro-aging support and the key to maintaining a smooth, even, and glowy complexion. Also vitamin C can help fade hyperpigmentation and smooth the skin’s surface to reduce dullness.
Which adaptogens/superfoods are in this serum and why?
You can find goji berries in the Glow and go serum! Goji berries are full of antioxidants, which are key to maintaining youthful, glowing skin. By fighting off free radicals brought about by air pollution, smoke, and UV rays, the antioxidants in goji berries reduce inflammation, thereby minimizing signs of aging. Packed with tons of different types of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, goji berries also help reduce acne, promote collagen production, and even out skin tone.
Do goji berries help with hyperpigmentation?
Another benefit of the goji berry is its impact on the melanin content within the skin, which is involved in skin coloration. It helps to minimize the hyperpigmentation and eves out the skin tone, which happens due to aging.
Who is this serum best for?
This serum is best for those who suffer from hyperpigmentation and dull skin and want to improve overall skin texture!
Can I mix this serum with other EGGO smartskincare products
Yes you can! It is also recommended that if you are new to using vitamin C, or have more sensitive skin, to mix this serum with other serums, such as Aquaholic, to build up your skin’s tolerance!
But we do not recommend layering the Glow and go Serum with any exfoliating acids (AHA, Glycolic, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid), Niacinamide, and Retinols. This is because mixing those ingredients can lead to irritation so we recommend to alternate them. We suggest using Glow and go in the morning and retinol OR AHAs/BHAs in the evening!
